About Me

I was born in Japan and spent a great deal of time overseas. I spent time in Saudi Arabia, as a civilian and was given the wonderful opportunity to see the world. I went to high school in Hoover, Alabama and then joined the Air Force. I was a nurse and medic and loved the job I did! I delivered a beautiful baby girl in August 1993 who is the light of my life now. I married a wonderful man on June 2, 2001, who is an absolute angel. (if it weren't for his cooking, we'd starve!) He is a police officer and I'm so proud of him. He is a Captain with his department and loves his job. (I'm so glad that he doesn't work the road that much any more!) I'm currently not working but am going to school to work on my nursing degree. I am looking forward to getting my RN license so that I can do some good in my community.

My Interests

Spending time with my family, playing my flute and piccolo, search and rescue, love my black lab, spending time outdoors, taking pictures, watching movies, watching my daughter play soccer and play her flute! Love the West Wing, Law and Order and Charmed. I enjoy playing in my community band. Love riding my bike and camping and hiking. Love to fish! Love anything with historical significance, specifically anything about our military. Enjoy hearing stories from our older generations about years gone by., I love to sew. Music

I love all types of music. I love classical music! But anything from the 60's and 70's are really enjoyable to me. Of course, I love to play my flute and piccolo with my band. I really enjoy performing and especially enjoying playing at nursing homes where the residents don't often get a chance to hear something different. It allows me to give something back to our older community!

WEST WING, LAW AND ORDER, Charmed, That 70's Show, Cops, JAG, Inside, and anything on the National Geograhic or History channel.

Books

Anything by Patricia Cornwell, John Grisham. I love mysteries, especially forensic mysteries. I truly enjoy the medical books that I am now reading for school!
